How does your website work?

Companies and Markets aggregates premium market research and company profiles; and other content from various sources. We aggregate many thousands of market research reports from respected experts in their fields, enabling our customers to conduct searches across these sources to ensure that they are getting the best market data for their budget.

How many reports do you have?

At the last count, we have over 350,000 reports available to purchase on our website. This number increases daily, as we update our database with new reports and by signing up new publishers of market research reports and company profiles.

Once I have purchased my report, when and how will I get it?

For each and every report on our website, there is a Delivery Lead Time shown on each report page. Some of the reports on our database are available to download immediately once you have purchased your report. The remainder are emailed by the Publisher after the purchase. Some 99% of the time, where reports are emailed, they are sent to the registered email address within one hour, although we always state that it can be up to 24 hours. There are reports on our website which are described as 'on demand' and have a delivery lead time of 2 days (in the case of some company profiles) and a small amount up to 7 days (in the case of a small number of market research reports). Even where the delivery lead time is 2 days, it is possible to send existing versions of reports by email almost immediately, with an updated report delivered later. Where reports have delivery lead times of longer than 1 day, we clearly state this on our website, on each report page.

I am looking for specific data, but I cannot find what I need. Do you provide a Custom Research Service?

Yes. Our analysts are experienced custom research report authors, with over 15 years experience in blue chip consulting and custom research projects. Whilst we have many thousands of reports covering a multitude of industries, companies and countries, a single report may not answer your research needs. Contact us with your research request.

Can I buy a Chapter from a report?

In the majority of cases, we do not sell single chapters from reports. However, in certain circumstances we may be able to do this. Please contact us by email, ensuring that you include the name of the report that you are interested in.

I am a student, can I get free reports?

Unfortunately we do not provide reports for free. We are able to give academic discounts in certain circumstances. Where this is not the case, we would be happy to guide you in your research, however. Please contact us.

My company is included in the report, can I get a complimentary copy?

Unfortunately, complimentary copies are not available. A significant amount of resources are used to compile reports. However, on occasions we may be able to secure a discount on a particular report. Please contact us, including the name of the report.

I would like to purchase a report, but I would like to get a sample first. Is that possible?

Yes it is possible, and we are often asked for sample pages. We provide randomly selected sample pages. However we can provide sample of specific chapters and tables, although please note that valuable data is always removed. Please contact us, including the name of the report, if you would like to receive sample pages.

Can I purchase a report by invoicing my company?

The majority of our reports are purchased by debit or credit card. However, customers can purchase reports by invoice. When going through Checkout, please select the invoice option and complete your transaction. An invoice will be sent to your email address, with details of where to transfer the payment to. Reports purchased by invoice will not be released until payment has been received.

Will I be charged VAT (sales tax)?

As a UK VAT registered company, we charge VAT automatically to customers in the UK. We charge VAT to companies in the European Union, unless a valid VAT number is provided. Please check the European Union VAT website in order enter the correct VAT number. We do not charge VAT to companies outside of the European Union.

How long do I have to wait for an answer to my enquiries?

We respond to enquiries within one working day although our sales and analyst team will aim to respond to any questions as soon as possible and often within the hour.
