The aim of the database is to provide information on the use of the individual types of business software by 500 mid-sized companies in Poland (by revenues, PLN 100m to ca. PLN 180m).The information in the database is subdivided into 26 column headings, commencing with company name, address, website, and telephone number (as well as contact person), through key financials and core business.


A separate key category of the database lists various types of software.

- „„MS Office suite and other office software;
- „„Anti-virus software, financial and accounting software, HR and payroll software;
- „„ERP, CRM and BI applications.

For every software type, information is provided on whether a given company owns such software and what firm manufactured the software.

Methodology:

The database was assembled primarily through telephone interviews with the individual companies (500
firms). Information gathered directly from the companies was also supplemented and verified with other
sources, including:
- „„IT solution providers
- „„Other databases with the firms' financials
- „„Monitor Polski.


The key advantage of the database is that it permits the processing and unlimited filtering of information contained therein:
- „„to generate custom diagrams and charts to illustrate the use of a given software type by a defined company type
- „„to prepare lists showing the uptake of applications of individual software makers.
All data is assigned to individual companies.
