The operating margin of the top 10 companies was 5.3% in 2008 as compared with 5.5% in 2007. The net margin was 2% in 2008 as compared with 3.6% in 2007.

The top 10 companies operate in diversified business categories. Some of these companies derive a major portion of their revenues from the business operations outside the logistics category. The revenues of the top 10 companies in this report include the sales from non logistics categories.
