On the other hand, due to double-digit increases in the price of crude oil, industry profitability waned during this period, driving operators to exit the industry. Overall, analysts expect industry revenue to increase at an average annual rate of 4.6% to $134.7 billion during the five years to 2014, including anticipated growth of 1.1% in 2014...
