Huntsman Corporation breaks ground for its new Asia Pacific Technology Centre in Shanghai. The $40 million facility, located in Shanghai's Minhang Economic & Technological Development Zone, will support the regions growing demand for technology and innovation. The Technology Centre is expected to be operational by the middle of 2013.

The facility will contain laboratories, machine halls and will house 400 technicians from different business units. Other Huntsman Technological centers are located inTexas and Belgium, in addition to smaller regional centers.

Huntsman Corporation is a global producer of differentiated chemicals. The company manufactures and sells differentiated organic chemical products, and inorganic chemical products.
