Sparton Complex Systems awarded new Tampa Microwave contract

NYSE listed electronics manufacturing company, Sparton Complex Systems, confirmed today that it has been awarded a ‘high rate circuit card' manufacturing contract by communications equipment provider, Tampa Microwave.

Sparton has been in operation for 111 years, serving sectors such as security, defence, medical, navigation and exploration, via the provision of complex and sophisticated electromechanical devices. Often referred to as a ‘box-build specialist', the company's Complex Systems division is renowned for its comprehensive design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities, especially in terms of the provision of sub-assemblies, electromechanical products and other complex electronic equipment.

Tampa is a small US company, offering customers a broad range of hardware in four product categories: manportable and VSAT satellite terminals, specialised communications test equipment, microwave modules and components, and custom communication system design services. Clients include the US Department of Defense and a number of commercial satellite organisations.
