The company recorded revenues of $4,005.6 million during the fiscal year ended December 2006, a decrease of 32.2% compared with 2005. The decrease in revenue was primarily due to low level of energy trading activity in 2006.
For the fiscal year ending December 2006, OG&E's generation capacity was 6,079 MW of which 3,480 MW was natural gas-based and 2,599 MW was coal-based. It generated 24,600 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity in 2006 of which 67% was coal fired.
