Report Summary

For the past couple of years, Vodafone has been running an occasional series of events for investors and analysts, in which CEO Arun Sarin and other members of the senior management team present a detailed look at various specific aspects of its business. At Vodafone Technology Day, held on 5 March 2008, the company described how its Technology Group is driving Vodafone’s overall strategy. Vodafone is one of the few operators – and arguably, the leading one – to combine the scale and the geographic scope required to drive the development of mobile technology. For this reason, we believe that Vodafone’s technology agenda will increasingly shape the technology agenda for the mobile industry as a whole.
